RETURNING UNWANTED ITEMS:

We accept returns of unwanted merchandise within 14 days of item receipt. You may ship your items to us in unused/unopened condition for a credit return of your purchase price. Please note that your original shipping costs are non-refundable. We do not accept returns on final-sale items (ending in $X.99,) custom commissioned work, framed artwork, or hand-foiled state prints.

DAMAGED ITEMS:

If your item has arrived damaged, please contact us at [email protected], and we will provide you with a replacement and return shipping label for the damaged item.

MISSING PACKAGES:

We ship all US-Domestic parcels via FedEx to the address as noted on your order. If you have made a mistake on your shipping address, please email us as soon as possible and we will do our best to adjust before it leaves our studio. (Keep in mind, most retail orders ship within 1 business day.) Idlewild Co. is not responsible for items shipped to incorrect addresses, nor retains ownership of parcels after tracking as delivered to your home/apartment/business. If your parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you and you will have the option to re-ship your order to your corrected address for $7.99 Flat-Rate, or return the goods for a refund of your purchase price (less the $7.99 Flat-Rate shipping cost.)

In areas with higher than average missing parcel issues, (apartment buildings, city residences with no vestibule/lobby, etc.,) we offer a FedEx’s Signature-Required Delivery Service for their additional fee of $6. Please email us prior to ordering, and we will accommodate your request.

CUSTOM WORK:

Custom stationery, wedding pieces/suites, design work, and invitations can not be returned or refunded after client has approved final proofs. Deposits on commissioned work are non-refundable. If changes are required after a proof has been approved, re-printing fees will be charged as necessary if the job has already moved into print production.

We believe that as a paper company, having the highest environmental standards should be a requirement, not an option. By printing locally whenever possible and assembling in-house, we aim to reduce our footprint as much as possible. Our entire range of greeting cards, gift tags, and art prints are manufactured start to finish within 100 miles of our design studio in Vero Beach, Florida. Our print and greeting-card paper stocks are only those approved by the Forest Stewardship Council, and our standard natural-white envelopes are created from 100% post-consumer papers. Our standard A-2 sized greeting cards are packaged in bio-degradable clear sleeves, and we have eliminated single-use plastic bubble wrap and padding in all of our outgoing wholesale and retail orders.

Idlewild Co. will never share, sell or distribute your contact or transaction information to any third party. The information we collect is only used as necessary to contact you about your order. Transactions on our site are secured using 256-bit SSL encryption and your credit card information is never stored. We reserve the right to cancel any order which raises concerns regarding the security of Idlewild Co. or our customers.

GENERAL FAQs

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1 business days of purchasing, Monday thru Friday.

Our hand-leafed prints are made-to-order, so please allow an additional 5 business days to process and pack. If you’ve purchased a custom-made frame with your art print order, please allow an additional 10-15 business days to frame your items.

All orders ship within 3 business days from our studio in Vero Beach, Florida with the exception of the days between Christmas and New Years. We currently offer Flat-Rate FedEx Ground Shipping for all domestic orders totaling up to $75.00. Orders over $75 ship FedEx Ground for free. You can check your approximate transit time by visiting the FedEx transit calculator. Tracking information will be emailed to you when your order has been shipped. We are not responsible for carrier delays due to inclement weather or re-routing errors. Please contact us directly if you are in need of your order by a specific date. International customers may check out through our Etsy Shop for International rates.

For online sales, we are not required to charge sales tax to recipients outside of the state of Florida. Florida residents are required to pay the standard rate (6.5%) on their orders. Any commissioned work picked up at and/or paid for at our studio in Vero Beach will be subject to standard Florida tax rates. (6.5%)

Yes- we enjoy working on supremely custom hand-painted commissioned invitations for all sorts of events large and small!
